1. What is your style of photography?
Refreshingly honest, artistic and personalized. My philosophy is "If it is not just a picture for you, it is not just a picture for me either."2. How much does it cost?
It is really difficult to price art. Remember, it is not a cookie-cutter retail studio experience. Expect to invest atleast $195 in session fees.3.I have always have gone to Sears or JCPenney for my family pictures. What is Artistic-Personalized photography?
Artistic-personalized photography is more of an involved, personalized experience over the cookie cutter chain mass-produced-pose-and-go, standardized style we are often used to. Artistic photography requires commitment from the photographer and the client, careful forethought and planning, and a certain level of investment in time and money. Clients who enjoy getting actively involved in the creation of their families’ memories love not just the artistic outcomes but also the personalized session experience. Many clients choose this experience to mark an annual special event; some opt to have custom photography sessions to celebrate their children’s milestones and many others to spend some quality time with their loved ones, smile and create precious memories. The end result is always fantastic, quality images that speak more than a thousand words. Read my Chicago photography client reviews.4.I have never done this before. What is the first step? Yes - Only the best premium prints, starting at $35. Sizing possibilities are virtually unlimited. I also provide birth announcements, canvas prints, frames, coffee-table books and holiday cards.7.Do you travel to take pictures of newborns?
Yes. Newborn pictures must be taken by 2 weeks or earlier. There is additional charge for my traveling to your location for newborns. Call me a couple weeks before your due date, so we can plan accordingly.8.How long is the photo session?
Again, you are not at a cookie cutter retail studio. With me everything is personalized and time is not part of the equation. For newborns, be prepared to spend at least 2 - 3 hours. Children love running around, so, have that in mind to plan. If we are taking pictures outdoor at a park or beach, add travel times to your estimate.9.Do you provide indoor as well as outdoor session options?
Sure! Who wants to stay indoors when the weather is gorgeous outside? Who wants to be outside when it is 10 degrees below freezing? You have the option of having your session indoor at my studio or outdoors at any preferred location in Chicago.10.Do you have a studio? If so, where is it located?
