I can't say enough good things about Sri and Jana. I was SO nervous to take maternity photos. I never really took pictures with the pregnancy of my first child- but decided I would take some pictures with my second pregnancy. Sri and Jana made me feel so comfortable and the pictures turned out really great!!! I love the way they included my daughter in my maternity photos as well. We were so happy with our photos that we decided to do the newborn photos with our son. The pictures of my son are AMAZING! I will cherish these pictures forever. We had our newborn session on April 10th so I'm a little late in doing my review but it's better late than never. I must say that Sri and Jana are absolutely amazing! After having such a great maternity session I decided to do the newborn session too and it was well worth it! They made it so easy for us. It was nice being able to hand over my little baby to them knowing that I would get a pleasant surprise of beautiful pictures a couple hours later. The pictures they took were all so wonderful! I just did a maternity shoot with Sri & Jana yesterday and I LOVED IT! They were so professional and polite. I never once felt uncomfortable during the shoot and actually felt very special and beautiful. So pleased with our choice to work with Sri and Jana for our maternity photos here in Chicago. We just completed our maternity session, and it was comfortable from start to finish. We're definitely looking forward to returning with our new little boy in just a few months for his newborn session! I think one of the things that drew me to work with this super friendly team, was that they specialize in just the maternity/newborn/child style photography. My experience with Sri and Jana was pure EXCELLENCE beyond my expectations!! I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant with my first child and really wanted this experience to be special. Not only were they nurturing by making sure I was comfortable, they made sure I understood the process from the day I made the appointment two months in advance to ensure I had a complete understanding of the full process. They were so organized with their system, and most importantly worked as a team on one accord. Never have I seen a couple that worked so well together in ANYTHING and display such a high level of professionalism that sealed the deal on my trust for them to do whatever THEY felt would be best. I can tell by their work ethic that they have plenty of experience not only in photography, but also with pregnant women, babies, and children. I actually got a little sick and they were very quick to get me water and a healthy snack to help rid the queziness. They were very patient and warm and set me at ease from the moment I walked in and have already scheduled my baby's newborn pictures in advance. For someone that has no experience in choosing photographers for anything, and this being my first child, I am very proud of myself for picking them out of all other options available and have NOT ONE regret! SPECTACULAR We were on the brink of experiencing a major parental disaster when the photographer we had scheduled an appointment with overbooked us. In a flash we were able to schedule an appointment with Sri. In a nutshell (which really wouldn't be fair to limit it to) our experience was nothing less than incredible. Great photographer, greater person to know I've known Sri as a good friend since he was a few years into photography. Exceeds all expectations I have known Sri for a few years now, both as a person as well as a photographer. The one word that comes to mind first when describing him is Passion. So happy!! I'm so glad we found Sri to do our maternity photos! At first I was really hesitant to book him. Although I could see from his website that he took great photos, he was so inexpensive compared to other photographers I had looked at with the same quality of photos. I've always been taught that if something seems to good to be true, it probably is. I thought for sure there was some kind of catch that I was missing! I talked to both Sri and his wife, Jana, a couple times on the phone , which eased my fears quite a bit. They were both always very pleasant and informative. We ended up spending two hours on the shoot, which is about twice as long as most of the other photographers I had called (who charge about twice as much). Sri and Jana were both METICULOUS. Every detail was tended to and there wasn't a pose that didn't end up with a beautiful picture. I was also concerned because I'm very critical of myself and I was worried I wouldn't like pictures of myself carrying around the extra pregnancy weight, but he knew exactly how to pose and set the lighting to make every picture flattering. I'm so happy we decided to do maternity photos and even happier we went with Sri. Sri and Jana were so patient and kind. You can tell Sri is incredibly committed to making his clients happy with every single photo. I will definitely be recommending him to all of my friends! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sri! My husband and I wanted to capture our pregnancy[page-32b1] and we turned to Yelp to help us find the perfect photographer. We wanted a few nice pictures that are tastefully done, not too "cheesy," and a package that did not cost as much as the wedding photography[page-3328]. Sri was absolutely wonderful on the phone and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. We booked our appointment, and he suggested what outfits would look good for the shoot and e-mailed me a few pictures of his work and was absolutely open for any suggestions or ideas we had. Sri's wife assisted him in the studio, and helped me in the changing room. She made sure my outfits and hair looked perfect. (No hurry, no time limit for the shoot! Other photographers charge by the number of outfits you can use or put a limit on the number of shots) Sri took as long as we needed to make sure we had a great variety and more than enough pictures for us to choose from. We had our proofs posted online within 24 hours! Sri was super patient with us, as it took us forever to narrow it down to the top 10. Also -if you send him an e-mail you get a response within 20 minutes every time! We received our edited pictures today and they look fantastic! Overall - it was an absolute pleasure to work with Sri! After this experience we regret not having these kind of newborn pictures for our other two boys. The care and patience with our baby was amazing. Sri and his wife were wonderful to work with and our newborn photos were absolutely gorgeous! He made the photo shoot easy to handle only 2 weeks postpardum by coming to our home and making everyone comfortable.
